The Neocons will WANT TO STAY in Iraq. FOREVER!
They don't care how many American kids or Iraqis die. Civil war, whatever. They want to stay. Of course, I mean THEY WANT OUR MILITARY TO STAY THERE, AS AN OCCUPYING ARMY... INDEFINITELY.
SEE HERE, a Guardian UK article, reporting how the White House hopes to use land-area percentages of the amount of Iraq in Iraqi-control as an indicator of success:
