President Bush... "HYPOCRITE? Or Projectionist? ("Projector?")

BUSH VETOES WATER BILL, BUT CONGRESS HAS THE VOTES TO OVERRIDE HIM...
L.A. Times article (EDITED)
In a statement accompanying his veto, Bush said, "This bill lacks fiscal discipline."
(PRESIDENT BUSH, WHO'S BANKRUPTED THE COUNTRY WITH HIS TAX-CUTS & HIS IRAQ "WAR", DIDN'T SEEM TO BE JOKING...)

On Capitol Hill, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) said, "I am 100% confident that we can override this veto." (CONSUMATE WHORE-PATRON, DISGRACED[?] SENATOR DAVID VITTER IS ARRARENTLY ALLOWED TO SPEAK ON BEHALF OF SOMONE... "WE?" I GUESS 'CAUSE HE'S FROM LOISIANA, WHO BUSH/CHENEY DROWNED, IT'S A-OKAY!)

The defiant bipartisan response to the veto underscores the difficulty the president faces in his new zeal to hold down federal spending, especially when it affects highly visible (WATER) construction projects cherished by lawmakers... ("LAME DUCK?" BLAME; SUCK!)
:::
"This is not fiscally responsible," (BUSH) said...
(HE WASN'T TALKING ABOUT IRAQ...
AND DIDN'T APPEAR TO BE JOKING.)
The water bill authorizes projects, but the funds must be provided through the separate appropriations process.

Bush complained that some of the projects fall outside the main mission of the Army Corps of Engineers: "facilitating commercial navigation, reducing the risk of damage from floods and storms, and restoring aquatic ecosystems."
