A Rose, is a Rose... is "a Rose." They LOST the War & You're NOT Safer...
They're "Cutting and Running" from Iraq. Bush gave a (lame) speech today, and announced MORE troop withdrawals from Iraq...
Nobody in Iraq "stood up" last week... nothing has changed since they smeared and attacked Murtha for saying, "let's get out of Iraq." And, if ANYBODY else SUGGESTED yesterday, what BUSH ANNOUNCED today, they'd pile on 'em.
But they are. Cutting (our losses). And Running, from the mess they made. It was their dream-war and they failed... miserably. Lucky us!
Now, via the Guardian UK, here, we learn Bush is renegging on his PROMISE to give Iraq "the best infrastructure in the region..." He's canceling the reconstruction-funding! It was mostly just being spent on fighting the insurgency anyway. But still, he is totally bailing on the commitments he made to the Iraqi population. They're on their own. Good Luck! (sorry, herb.) Remember before the quagmire in Iraq, wiser people warned Bush of creating a power vaccuumm if he removed Saddam? Oops! Okay...
