2) "Khandaharification," (noun) refers to a small, secure(d) area -- usually a city or town -- in a country which has otherwise completely gone to the dogs. The holders of the "Khandy" usually pretend and/or claim to have secured / control the whole country. (Also, verb: "Khandaharify")

And when he says "security and peace," he's talkin' about OIL... ECONOMIC "SECURITY." But he'll wait until the next President has to deal with high gas-prices until he clarifies that distinction, Herb.

Bush's Speech On Iraq Will Amount To: ...TRUST-ME... (Again?) ...WHY SHOULD WE? He has NO CREDIBILITY!

He wants more troops -- and the military can only scrounge up another 20,000. (The CITY of Bagdhad has SIX MILLION residents.)

For the first time, more troops disapprove of the president’s handling of the war than approve of it. Barely one-third of service members approve of the way the president is handling the war, according to the 2006 Military Times Poll...
In 2004 — 83 percent of poll respondents thought success in Iraq was likely. This year, that number has shrunk to 50 percent.

Only 35 percent of the military members polled this year said they approve of the way President Bush is handling the war, while 42 percent said they disapproved.

We suspect Bush & Cheney don't likely care what the troops think...
